I’m Alex Edwards and I’m the managing director of EFA Engineering. With over 20 years of industry experience I’ve been lucky enough to have worked with some very talented and inspirational people. I’ve had the opportunity to build teams to deliver complex projects and I’ve seen how the right people with the right strategy ensures a successful outcome.
I started EFA because it allowed me to bring together all the people I’ve enjoyed working with and use our combined experience to bring value to our clients and help them respond to changing market needs.

A Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager with more than 15 years of professional experience with strong Project Management and Systems Integration skills within Rail, Automotive and Manufacturing sectors.

Skilled and experienced Rail Professional with over 30 years’ experience working in the rail industry and site environments. Highly adaptable individual with a good understanding of the requirements of Project design, planning, Implementation, testing and commissioning, including most rail based Telecoms Systems.
Keen cyclist who enjoys golf and volunteering for local youth groups including a children’s bereavement counselling service.

A Chartered Quantity Survey / Commercial Manager with over 15 years of experience in Procurement, Contract Administering and claim settlement, Contract closeout and Dispute Resolution on major infrastructure projects within both the Railway and Airports sectors.
