Overview

The purpose of the programme is to decarbonise the Midland Main Line from Kettering to Sheffield by enabling electric trains to run on the line utilising a lower emission energy source.

Client Requirements

The Network Rail programme team had a shortfall in Engineering resource in the areas of strategic leadership and other specialist disciplines.

They required these gaps filled in a flexible and cost-effective way to support the set-up of the next stage of delivery and the close-out of legacy works.
