Midland Mainline Electrification (MMLE) programme will electrify the railway from London to Nottingham and Sheffield. The works are taking place in sections and will be supporting the Government’s net zero carbon targets for 2050.
The Network Rail programme team had a shortfall in Engineering resource in the areas of strategic leadership and other specialist disciplines. They required these gaps filled in a flexible and cost-effective way to support the set-up of the next stage of delivery and the close-out of legacy works.
For this phase of the works, EFA Engineering supported the MMLE programme with a multidiscipline engineering team, commercial and handback team.
