Turner & Townsend appointed EFA Engineering to supply a Commercial Manager to deliver day-to-day commercial support for the HS2 programme.
The appointed Commercial Manager was embedded within ALIGN JV, one of the principal Construction Partners on HS2, providing expert commercial oversight and management. Responsibilities included contract administration, cost control, risk management, and commercial reporting, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and compliance with HS2 governance.
EFA Engineering’s involvement contributed to effective commercial decision-making and resource optimisation, supporting the successful delivery of this high-profile, complex infrastructure project.
The Network Rail programme team had a shortfall in Engineering resource in the areas of strategic leadership and other specialist disciplines. They required these gaps filled in a flexible and cost-effective way to support the set-up of the next stage of delivery and the close-out of legacy works.
For this phase of the works, EFA Engineering supported the MMLE programme with a multidiscipline engineering team, commercial and handback team.
