The Gatwick Airport Station redevelopment project significantly enhanced passenger experience by creating more space, improving accessibility, and delivering wider platforms along with a new airport entrance and concourse. These upgrades support smoother, safer, and more efficient journeys for all users, including those with reduced mobility.
As part of the enabling works, OSL appointed EFA Engineering to develop a temporary works design to support critical cable installation activities. This included provision for cable pulling using a trailer and winches, along with a jointing platform. The solution ensured safety, efficiency, and minimal disruption during the station’s ongoing transformation.
